Prayer Request

My boyfriend Trey's sister was in a car accident last Sunday. She has been in a coma since then and pretty much unresponsive. She has been improving slowly day-by-day but there need to be some significant improvements within the next few days. If any of you are familiar with the Glasgow coma scale she is a solid 8 on the scale. But it's crucial that she jumps up on the scale before day 12 after the accident. The most severe injuries were to her brain but she also received multiple fractures - skull, facial, sternum, and leg. But really compared to her head injuries the broken bones are nothing to worry about. Her name is Dianne Helms and she is in the ICU at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. I was able to be there last Sunday & Monday with Trey and his family but then I had to return to Austin for Hebrew class. Trey had to go to Arizona on Saturday for his January class and he is hating being that far away during this time. So I ask that you pray for Dianne - that she can keep making improvements, for Trey - that he can have some peace of mind being so far away, and for their entire family as they are in a time of uncertainty right now.
