Kickball Rules!

Here at seminary we take studying and holiness very seriously...as you have seen by the previous activities mentioned in my blog that we do not have time to mess around and have fun. Yeah right!! We started a kickball team in the spring and we have continued to play in the summer. Everyone on the team is related to the seminary in one way or another. Last Friday night we had our second game of the summer and we had about a 15 run lead on our opponents. Somehow, miraculously, they came back to tie the game in the last inning. So we had to play an extra inning and it was up to us - if we didn't score then the game was over. I was up to kick and I popped out - so that was 1 out. Then my fiance Trey was up to kick and one of our friends on the sideline yelled out, "c'mon Trey! Here's your chance to prove your masculinity!" Trey runs up to kick the ball and instead of going flying into the outfield he accidentally spins the ball and it rolls towards first base, slowly...Luckily Trey is really fast and he got to first base safely. But he said he had his chance to prove his masculinity and he blew it!! It turns out that he scored the winning run for our team so I think he proved himself. It was SO FUNNY!!
So we have had a lot of fun playing kickball on Friday nights. The picture is of our team after our grand victory.
